Opabet Casino

It may take a few minutes to find who exactly regulates Opabet. You won’t see any licence info in the footer, but we could confirm that the site is under an Anjouan licence ALSI-152406037-FI3. The Responsible Gambling page is perfectly accessible from the footer, though.

Anjouan is an offshore jurisdiction, not a Canadian provincial regulator such as the AGCO in Ontario. It still provides formal oversight and is well recognized, but you may not receive the same local dispute support that comes with provincial approval.

Responsible Gambling Overview

You can read about the safe play tools, such as deposit limits, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion, on the Responsible Play page. These are the main ones every online casino must have, and Opabet did its job. It also has links to independent organisations that help people affected by gambling problems.

The deposit method selection is pretty good, as you get cards, e-wallets, crypto, and other common options. However, the exact choice can change by province.

Opabet doesn’t use one fixed limit for every payment type. Each method shows its own minimum and maximum, so we suggest that you check both figures before you confirm a deposit. Luckily, you can see it all during the deposit process itself.

Deposit Methods

I used MiFinity for the test because it was also available for cashouts. Opabet did not ask me for documents or account approval before the payment, so there were no extra checks, and I received the full amount within seconds of confirmation.

You can’t go wrong with Interac or e-wallets here. Crypto is another option if it appears in your province, although network confirmation can add a delay.

The welcome bonus package takes most of the attention, but it is not the only option worth a look. Opabet Casino splits the main sign up offer across several deposits, which gives you plenty of opportunities to get some extra funds if you’re interested. We like this approach because it suits a steady budget better than a single large first deposit bonus payment. A no deposit bonus would be even better, but you won’t get it here.

The main promotion types include:

• Welcome package
• Cashback promotions
• Reload bonuses
• Free spins packages
• Free bet deals

The multi-deposit bonus is great if you plan to fund the account more than once. However, each stage can have a different minimum deposit and wagering rule, so check the terms before every payment. Some promos may require a bonus code, so be sure to double-check the terms.

It took me about a minute to opt-in for the newcomer bonus and receive it upon my deposit. You don’t even have to go to the My Gifts page, as stated on the promo page, there’s a bonus activation screen at the Cashier, which is what I used.

I always like promos that combine bonus funds and spins, but the terms really could be clearer about what games are being promoted. The selection of regular offers is pretty solid, though, just make sure they fit your budget, and that you’re using the correct promo code before you top up.

There are more than 3k games we found during our Opabet Casino review, including slots, live games, and tables. You won’t find bingo here, but that’s not a big issue if these aren’t a priority for you.

Opabet is a pretty new arrival to the Canadian market, so the game library may expand in the future. Meanwhile, if you’re curious about other new online casino sites that may offer more games, check out our page on that.

You shouldn’t have any trouble finding specific titles. The search bar responds well to full and partial game names, while the provider filter can find all the games from your favourite developer in seconds.

Each game I tested opened within a few seconds. I didn’t find an unusual category that would separate Opabet from similar casinos, so the main strength comes from the size of the library rather than a rare game format.

Games have their own information pages, but they only list the largest recorded win and the maximum multiplier. You don’t get to see RTP data there, which we see as more important. There’s a demo mode you can access after registration, however.

Slot Games

The slot lobby has far more depth than the other categories. It includes three-reel games, standard video slots, Megaways titles, and jackpot games. The catalogue is updated regularly too, so stay updated for new arrivals.

Best Slots

I tested Book of Dead, one of the most popular reels there is. The rules may take a little time to learn, but you will get the gist of it fast. The bonus round here is a clear highlight that really changes the whole feel of the game.

Live Games

The live casino lobby has fewer entries than the slot catalogue, but it has the main dealer tables (blackjack, roulette, poker), and several game shows. Evolution supplies many of these titles.

Best Live Games

Table Games

The table game lobby, while not far behind in size, has a lesser variety in terms of game types. It’d be really nice to see some niche baccarat or poker titles added in the future.

Best Table Games

Opabet’s library is strongest for slots, where the choice and regular updates give you plenty to explore. Live games cover the main dealer tables and game shows, while the standard table section includes some high-RTP titles but fewer unusual variants. Games loaded quickly during our checks, although the missing RTP details on individual game pages make comparisons harder than they should be.

The site supports Interac, bank cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, and cryptocurrency, although your province and deposit method can affect what appears in the cashier. Decent range, but it doesn’t stand apart from other offshore casinos.

Opabet can deduct 10% or refuse your request if you try to withdraw deposited funds before you use them for play. I’d only deposit an amount that you genuinely plan to use.

Withdrawal Routes

Since I deposited through Mifinity, I withdrew through it as well. Opabet didn’t charge a fee, and it took about a minute to fill out the form. The request passed the account checks, and the full amount reached our card in about 12 hours.

If any questions arise, Opabet Casino points you to live chat, email, and social media support. Please note the support isn’t 24/7, so chat won’t be available at all times, but you can access it without needing to login.

Regardless of that, we would still suggest live chat as your primary way of communication because of how speedy it is.

I used live chat to ask about Mastercard cashouts. The agent replied after 2 minutes and spoke to us politely. I was satisfied with the answer overall, though it provided some text from the FAQ copied 1-to-1.

Customer Service Contact List

There’s also a lengthy FAQ section we suggest you check before contacting anyone. It really has a lot of info, but without a search bar or any category breakdown, it’s quite tricky to navigate.
